POSITION/BACKGROUND
In 2020 Dr. Thomas Hasenpflug joined Industrie Consult as a partner. He advises our clients on national and international transactions, primarily in the medium-sized sector.
Dr. Hasenpflug worked in the metals industry for 25 years before he went into consulting. In his activities in Germany and in the USA he was responsible for transaction management, financing and strategic development. During this time, he guided and managed both domestic and international M&A transactions in the mid-market sector. Dr. Hasenpflug also supervised the implementation of transaction projects and restructuring processes. He has also done research activities in the field of charitable and non-profit organizations.

In his long-standing work for a leading international company in the non-ferrous metals industry, Dr. Hasenpflug has structured, led and implemented transactions of various sizes. This included industrial company acquisitions, acquisitions in the trade and distribution sector, as well as international acquisitions and cooperation agreements. As an advisor, he has served the industrial mid-sized sector as well as the crafts sector.
